A place for reflection, clarity, and meaningful change.

Aletheia is the ancient Greek word for truth. Not simply truth as fact, but truth as something revealed. Something brought into the light rather than left concealed.
Therapy asks us to confront what we would often rather avoid. The patterns we repeat. The relationships we struggle to understand. The fears we protect ourselves from. The ways we have adapted to survive that may no longer serve us.
This work is not about quick fixes, positive thinking or becoming someone else. It is about developing the courage to see yourself clearly. Because lasting change rarely begins with another technique or strategy. It begins with honesty.
It is to help you examine your life with curiosity, rigour and compassion, to challenge what keeps you stuck, and to support you in making choices that are more intentional, more authentic and more aligned with the life you want to live.
Therapy is not always comfortable. It can be confronting, demanding and, at times, deeply unsettling. Yet it is often through those moments of honest reflection that meaningful change becomes possible.
Truth has a way of changing us. Not because it is easy, but because it asks something of us.

Services
Indivdual Therapy
Life has a way of exposing the strategies that once helped us survive but now keep us stuck. Anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, compulsive behaviours, grief, or a persistent sense that something isn't right are often signs that something deeper requires attention rather than avoidance.
Therapy is an opportunity to understand yourself with greater honesty. Together, we explore the patterns that shape your life, the relationships that have influenced you, and the beliefs, emotions and protective strategies that continue to operate beneath awareness.
My approach is integrative, relational and direct. I will challenge where necessary, slow things down when needed, and remain alongside you as we make sense of your experience. The aim is not simply symptom reduction but lasting change through greater awareness, responsibility and psychological freedom.
Sessions are available in person from my practice in Coleraine or online, allowing you to choose the setting that best fits your life.
Relationship Therapy
Relationships rarely break down because of a single argument. They deteriorate through repeated patterns that leave both people feeling unheard, unseen and disconnected.
Our work is about understanding the cycle that has developed between you, recognising how each person contributes to it, and creating a different way of relating.
I work with relationships experiencing conflict, emotional distance, breakdowns in communication, betrayal, trust issues, differences in sexual desire, intimacy difficulties, infertility, major life transitions and questions about whether the relationship can continue.
Relationship therapy provides a structured and balanced space to have the conversations that have become difficult to have alone. Together we identify what is happening beneath the arguments, address the emotional and psychosexual aspects of the relationship where appropriate, and develop the understanding and skills needed to move forward. Whether that means rebuilding the relationship or bringing clarity to what comes next.
Walking Therapy
Not every meaningful conversation belongs in a therapy room.
Walking therapy combines the depth of psychological work with the grounding influence of movement and the natural environment.
Many people find that walking makes it easier to think clearly, speak honestly and reflect without feeling confined by a traditional office setting.
Moving side by side often changes the quality of conversation. There is less pressure, fewer distractions and greater space for reflection.
Walking therapy is particularly suited to those who feel energised by nature, struggle with the intensity of sitting face to face, or simply prefer a different way of engaging in therapy.
Clinical Supervision
(commencing Janurary 2027)
Supervision is a professional necessity, but it is also a vital space for professional growth, ethical reflection, and psychological resilience.
I provide clinical supervision for both trainee and qualified therapists, as well as professionals working in high-pressure interpersonal roles. My approach to supervision is relational and collaborative, focusing on the quality of the therapeutic alliance and the complex dynamics at play in clinical work.
We work together to develop your clinical skills, deepen your theoretical understanding, and ensure that you are working ethically and safely. Supervision should be a space where you feel challenged but supported, and where you can honestly examine your work without fear of judgment.

A Final Note
Finding the right therapist is important. I encourage you to take your time, read through the website and ask any questions that will help you decide whether my approach feels right for you.
Therapy works best when there is openness, commitment and a willingness to engage honestly with the process.
If you choose to begin, I look forward to working with you.
